Our commitment

OTHRS Technologies Limited is committed to making the OTHRS platform usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, speech input, or operating-system accessibility settings.

Accessibility is treated as part of how we build, not as a separate exercise. New pages and components are expected to meet the standard below before they ship, and existing pages are reviewed as they are changed.

02

Standard we have assessed against

We assess OTHRS against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Our assessment combines automated testing of the public marketing pages, the legal centre, the sign-in flow and the main signed-in areas of the platform, with manual checks of keyboard navigation, focus order, dialogs and menus, and colour contrast measured against the WCAG contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and user-interface components).

OTHRS is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the platform meets the standard, with the specific exceptions listed below.

03

What we have done

  • Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Icon-only buttons and controls, including navigation toggles and dialog close buttons, carry accessible names.
  • Form fields have programmatically associated labels, and validation messages are announced rather than signalled by colour alone.
  • Every interactive element has a visible keyboard focus indicator, and the platform can be operated without a mouse.
  • Dialogs, menus and popovers are built on accessible primitives: focus is managed on open and close, and they can be dismissed with the keyboard.
  • Pages use a single main landmark and a logical heading order so screen-reader users can navigate by structure.
  • Text and interface colours are checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast ratios, and low-contrast values are corrected within our existing palette.
  • Progress indicators, status badges and live updates expose their meaning as text, not colour alone.
04

Known limitations

We would rather be honest about what is still outstanding than claim full conformance. As at 7 September 2026 we are aware of the following:

  • Generated PDFs. Exports produced by the platform (opportunity brochures, Heads of Terms, legal handover packs, NDAs, Deal Room audit records, finance and performance reports) carry a correct document title, language and reading order, but the underlying PDF-generation tools we use cannot produce fully tagged PDF structure — headings, tables and images are not marked as such for assistive technology, and brochure images do not yet carry alternative text. The equivalent information is available as web content in the platform.
  • Dense data tables. Some administrative and finance tables scroll horizontally on small screens and are demanding to navigate with a screen reader on a phone. These areas are used by a small number of internal users and are being simplified as they are revised.
  • User-supplied content. Documents, images and descriptions uploaded by member organisations are outside our control, so we cannot guarantee their accessibility.

If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, we would like to know about it.

05

Third-party content and services

Some parts of the experience are provided by third parties, including payment and checkout pages operated by our payment processor. We do not control the accessibility of those pages. Where a third-party component creates a barrier we will look for an accessible alternative or an assisted route to complete the same task.

06

Reporting an accessibility problem

If you find something on OTHRS that you cannot use, or you need information in a different format, please contact us at accessibility@othrs.ai.

It helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge every report within five working days and to tell you what we intend to do and when. Where a fix will take time, we will offer an alternative way to complete the task.

General questions can also be raised through our support page.

07

Enforcement procedure

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and you are not satisfied with our response, you can raise the matter with the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which advises on rights under the Equality Act 2010.

Preparation and review of this statement

This statement was prepared on 7 September 2026 following an accessibility review of the OTHRS platform, and was last reviewed on 7 September 2026.

We review this statement at least annually, and sooner whenever a significant change is made to the platform or a reported barrier changes what is listed above.
